Our mini-fest kicks off with the House Jazz Band from 3pm – 5pm, playing a selection of Afro-Cuban, Gypsy Jazz and Classic tunes.

At 6 pm – Brazilian Duo, Tudo Bem (sometimes joined by a percussionist) present the finest in Bossa Nova and other South American styles.

You can expect to hear a collection of well known Brazilian favourites, as well as other styles of music that are less well known outside of Brazil such as Funk, Samba-Reggae, Samba-Rock and Baião.

Pedro Martins from Sao Paulo, moved to Brighton from France 10 years ago, and has played all over the world including at O2 Arena, he also DJs, acts and leads his own band Bazeado. Monica is from Rio de Janiero and is the lead singer and great dancer.

From 9 pm – Scott Jeffers

Scott plays his original compositions in the frame of a one-man world music show case performance. His music brings the people, the sounds, the sights, the smells and the landscape of faraway places intimately close.

The solo concerts also feature compositions that are not heard anywhere else, and mesmerizing improvisations for violin.
