Megan Johns – 3.30 pm  – singer and pianist. Haunting vocals and a minimalist piano style combine in this young performer.

BrightHUN Voices is a select group of people who meet every week to sing together. Hungarian folksongs and compositions are in the main focus to enhance everyone’s awareness of Hungary’s musical culture and history.

Hanna B & the Angels from Elsewhere – 5.15 pm

A Brighton based singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist with a wealth of experience, on the stage, on the road and in the studio. Hanna’s warm stage presence, distinctive voice and original soulful folk compositions brim with seductive melody and catchy grooves.

She is joined on stage by jazz chanteuse Michele Nardell, weaving together magical harmonies, and session guitarist Matt Szul providing melodic lines and some funky rhythm.

Serving Suggestion – 6.15 pm

‘Duo of local ladies, Eve Whittingham and Jen ‘chocolatician’ Lindsey-Clark,
Perform their first gig as a duo after 6 years of singing together in The Close Shaves, a Brighton based close harmony swing trio.
Lovingly armed with a uke, cello and percussion ( also utilising the house piano) Serving Suggestion will be serving up a selection of delicious covers all with a chocolatey smooth coating of sweet harmonies.

Jenny Maloney Band - 6.50 pm

 

Jennie Moloney is a quirky, lyrically-driven songwriter with a fiery, punk attitude and powerhouse vocals. She takes her audience on an emotional adventure across a range of themes and genres bringing her Essex roots and raw emotion and honesty into all her songs and performances.
The Jennie Moloney Band (JMB) consist of Duncan Stewart, Benjamin Judd and Adam Michalakis who come together to create a pop/rock/all round badass sound to accentuate the vocal melodies. The band are also known for their improvised songs during sets which always tantalise and excite the audience!

Oh Mama - 8.00 pm

Dawn breaks through hazy skies to haunting, watery harmonies as the folding sirens entrance you into rippling lakes, lakes that evaporate into tantalising clouds that build high into space until metamorphosis takes place; heaviness pounds to the ground in a storm of clattering groovic tangles, shuddering fuzz, dazzling licks and shimmering screams of mayhem and grace.
