People who have contributed to the music in Shoreham since an alternative underground vibe was created in the 1970′s, such as John Finch – who will be performing with Jed Cutler and Owen Jones, as a chronological example of our cultural heritage.
Shady Grove perform with Mel Tong – they have been instrumental in maintaining and promoting original and traditional Folk music throughout Sussex.
Lucy Poole and “The Thing from the Swamp”, spring from Dave O’Connell’s excellent Allstars School for young musicians, representing the future of music in Shoreham.
Also newcomers to the area, bringing a distinctive vibe based more on World Music, Reggae, Gypsy Jazz and festival lifestyles, such as Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags.
