Please join us for what promises to be a great event and fundraiser for Shoreham Sea Scouts.
There will be food, a raffle, activities and music from Shadty Grove and guests from 4.30 pm.
As you’re probably aware, Shoreham is twinned with Zywiec in Poland. There has been a continued exchange, with visits and shared knowledge for many years.
This was facilitated and supported by the late Trevor Passmore, who many of you will know from the Glastonwick Festival at Coombes Farm. Not only was Trevor a keen supporter of local music, he was heavily involved in promoting the links with Zywiec, especially music and dance, and the Sea Scouts from both there and Shoreham.
In honour of his memory and legacy, the Duke aims to help support our local Sea Scout Group, and ensure that the contact with Poland continues, particulary in the light of lacklustre involvement from the council in these times of ‘austerity’.
