Rose Divine and the D’Villes have been ploughing their off-beat Country furrow since 2012, featuring a classic line-up of fiddle, guitar, bass and drums, fronted by the golden vocals of Rose Divine.
Repertoire comes from old school favourites such as The Carter Family, Kay Starr, and Lefty Frizzell, through Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris, to a fresh take on Kirsty MacColl, The Proclaimers and even Slade.
Band members have worked extensively with diverse artists across the industry including: Stock and Aitken, Brian Wilson, Van Morrison, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Fischer Z and STOMP, and local legends The Long Tall Texans and The Brighton Beach Boys.
Rose Divine’s voice features at the front of Hounds of Love Live!, a recreation of the classic Kate Bush album.
