Six-piece folk-rock band, The Fold, were formed in 1994 by two ex-members of Altogether Elsewhere, a key band of the important Brighton folk-rock scene of the late 80s that included The Levellers and McDermott’s Two Hours in its ranks.
The Fold have released three well received albums but are better known for their live performances where the energy level always remains high. The band has played countless gigs and festivals throughout Europe including Lorient (the world’s largest Celtic festival), Larmer Tree, Black Horse, Off the Tracks and Wickham. The music is fiddle-driven rock and funk but with a high regard to delivering strong songs with interesting twists and turns.
