The Welly plays host to a varied weekend music line-up, mingled with regular and random weekday events including open mic night, sea shanty singing, ukulele workshops, quiz night and bar billiards. Most of our gigs are free entry, but we do pass a non-mandatory boot round to support the artists. The pub also stages the occasional ticketed event but these are well publicised in advance. We cannot usually accommodate private parties but if you don’t mind a few gate crashers, you are always free to bring your party to the pub. Please call us if you would like to arrange your own band, food, special beers etc… Otherwise just turn up with your party!
