Rubycon are a band from the West Sussex-Hampshire area who have a passion for good old classic rock music.The numbers they play reflect the wide variation in musical tastes and interests of the band members, which range from classic numbers of the 50s and 60s, all the way up to date. Their set list currently includes songs from ACDC, Rush, The Who, Jet, Neil Young, Def Leppard, Blondie, Patti Smith, Black Crowes, T-Rex, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, No Doubt,Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake (amongst others)! Rubycon is fronted by Debs and features  Matt Douglas on drums and backing vocals, the awesomely brilliant Steve Gladman on lead guitar and the magnificent Pete Daniels on bass. The name is derived from the well-known idiom ‘Crossing the Rubicon’ which means passing a point of no return, ‘Alea iacta est’ – (the die is cast)!
