Very Eagley band who are eagerly anticipated!

The New Amusements play guitars and sing in close harmony like bands used to do. They cover songs from bands like Badfinger, The Eagles, Free and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and great songwriters like James Taylor, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. You know the kind of thing.

They also do something quite unusual. With years of experience in rock and roll, soul, folk and country, they make a quite beautiful noise. Gareth and Paul have sung together for more than fifteen years, Phil has played drums in every conceivable style from big bands to marching bands and Mark has slung his guitar all over Europe in bands such as Freakpower, Moving Melvin Brown and with Eric Mingus. If you like music that happens right in front of you, that has authenticity, feel and harmony, then you will love The New Amusements. They really are very good.
